The TV

We now have tv in Costa Rica. It has had a couple of benefits. First of all I can finally watch a little futbal americano. I have missed it a bit over the last several years. Second, it is one of our language learning tools. We watch the kids shows in Spanish and actual understand some of them. The only problem is there are commercials and Creed gets mad and says he wants a kids show back. He cries over every commercial that is not about kids stuff. Laney an the other hand likes the commercials. She sees something she likes and says I want a camera; then she goes and makes one. It had so much detail it was amazing. It had a lens, lots of buttons, a screen on the back. She used a cereal bar box for the main part. SHe is almost obsessed with the phone, and has loved it from the get go, so she decided to make herself one. After being home from school for three days, because she was sick, she was running a store and calling him on the phone to buy things and get her things. She is very creative and resourceful. She has memory cards that she is carrying around and draws on them what she doesn't want to forget. She cracks me up at how busy she always is creating things and playing. She was able to go back to school today and was so excited about it. Creed has been "coughing" every morning trying to get out of school. It is hilarious. He also feels the need to be dramatic when I leave or drop him off. My funny, funny man. He is excurting his independence and even though he doesn't want to go to school he does wonderfully once he is there.
