It Is Official!!!

Tickets have been bought. We are leaving on August 6th. I can't believe it is a month away. I can't believe how much we have done and I can't believe how much we have to do. I couldn't go back to sleep after 5 this morning so I got up and started packing. I have so much running through my head. I can hardly write this b/c my mind is racing. I am so excited, I am so nervous. I better go take care of some stuff before nap time is over.

No More Painting!!!!

I cannot even tell you how happy I am that we are done painting. We painting almost everything inside this house. The house seems huge when it comes to painting it and all the base boards and crown molding. Holy Toledo we have a lot of trim. Granted we were going to paint it 6 six years ago. Even before we painted there was a TON of puttying (however you spell that) and sanding. Jason did most of that horrible job. It took hours and days. The house looks amazing!!! I am so happy to put the paint away. I know we will have to do some touch ups on our way out the door, but WE ARE DONE. I did Laney's door and then by the next day there was more marker on it. It made me a little ticked, but had to move on to another door.

Now I am on to the packing. It is much more fun packing than painting. We also got our storage container to put our stuff in. I guess we are moving in the right direction!!
