Time is Ticking
I can't believe it is almost the end of May. We keep getting rid of more and more things. The other day Laney asked me if she was allowed to take four books with her to Costa Rica. I told her she could take some books and that there were books there too. I am amazed at how well the kids are doing with so many things leaving the house. We took all the wallies (little wallpaper pictures) off their wall while they played under foot. Finally when we were almost done Laney asked why we were doing it. I told her the people moving in didn't have kids and didn't want animals on the wall. She seemed surprised by that and I have to agree. I was having a hard time taking them down. They looked so cute, especially the growth chart we had to peel off. It made me a touch sentimental so Jason took a picture of it so we could see how much the kids had grown. I am glad they are doing so well and don't seem very attached to anything. Granted they get attached to a box or a craft for a couple of days and then I ask them if they are done with it and it goes in the trash. I guess it is Laney I ask first b/c she remembers everything. Creed does not seem to care what craft he did or what thing he played with yesterday. He just picks something else and moves on. I am excited to see how they do through the whole adventure. Right now they are playing outside a lot and no matter where they play they love to be with each other.
